1. What is the electronic ticket?

It is a plastic card that has a unique number, a QR code and a color mark that determine the type of card: blue – for pupils and students, yellow – for Social Security beneficiary, red – for employees of the transportation system. The standard card does not have a color mark. Personalized cards (blue, yellow, red) contain personal data of the passenger.

 

2. Is it possible to pay for the journey by the both methods: cash and electronic ticket?

No, from the November 11th 2019 in the public transport of Lutsk city the payment can be made only by the electronic ticket or by using special rate electronic card.

 

3. What is the price of the card?

Standard card costs 35 hryvnias. Cards for representatives of people receiving aid will be given for free. It is necessary to refill the transport card after the purchase of the transport card, because it has zero balance. You can do it in the automated kiosks, citycard sales centers and on our website or through the mobile application.

 

4. Where to buy the citycard?

Passengers can buy the standard card and top up its balance in the automated kiosks or in the citycard sales centers. The map of automated kiosk you can find below.

 

5. What types of cards can be provided by the system?

The are 4 types of cards: non-personalized standard card, personalized: student card, special rate card and card for the employees of transport system. For more information, see the section “Types of cards”. It is also possible to pay with the mobile application: tap the ”Show the ticket” button and the QR-code will be displayed on your smartphone.

 

6. How to top up the card?

You can top up the balance of card in card sale centers, automated kiosks and on the website citycard.net on the item “Online top up”.

 

7.What shall I do if I don’t have enough funds on the card to pay the trip?

Every transport card has one credit fare. You can use it or try to find the automated kiosks, citycard sales centers to refill the card. It is also possible to top your card on with our website or through the mobile application.

 

8. Who will control the fare?

The control will work on the line with special devices to check the registration of the electronic ticket.

 

9.Do the city guest needs to buy transport card?

Сity guests can buy a reusable card as a souvenir. For travel, they will be able to use cards for 2 (costs 15 uah) or 3 trips (costs 20 uah) , which can be purchased at self-service terminals or sales centers.

 

10. Can several people pay for the journey by one card?

Yes, it is possible. However, the number of payments on a single card is limited so that no one pays it. Only one trip can be registered with the student and preferential card – after contact with the validator the card will be blocked for a few minutes.

 

11. Does the card have a shelf life?

No, it does not.

 

12. How to check the balance of the card?

The balance of the card can be checked at self-service terminals, the mobile application and on the validator display after payment for the trip.

 

13. What shall I do if I lost my card?

14. How will I understand that the payment was completed successfully?

The validator display show information about successful payment and balance on your card.
