1. What is the electronic ticket?

An electronic ticket is a ticket for contactless fare payment on public transport (bus, trolleybus).
Types of electronic tickets:
– plastic card, which has a unique number, QR-code and a color code that will determine the type of card: blue – for schoolchildren and students, yellow – for representatives of privileged categories, red – for employees of the transport system. The standard card has no color mark. Personalized cards (blue, yellow, red) contain personal data of the passenger.
– QR-ticket generated in the mobile application.
– Ticket for trips sold in terminals for sale and replenishment.

2. Is it possible to pay for the journey by the both methods: cash and electronic ticket?

According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Lutsk City Council dated 10.12.2019 № 798-1 transportation of passengers and luggage is carried out exclusively with fare payment using electronic tickets.
E-tickets can be purchased at the card center and terminals or generated in the CityCard Lutsk mobile application.
Replenishment of electronic tickets:
– on the website of the Operator of electronic systems citycard.net,
– via the CityCard Lutsk mobile application,
– in sales and replenishment terminals.

 

3. What is the price of the card?

A standard card costs UAH 70.
Cards for representatives of privileged categories of the population and students of general secondary education institutions of Lutsk are issued in the card center at the expense of the executive committee of Lutsk city council.

 

4. Where to buy the citycard?

Passengers can buy the standard card and top up its balance in the automated kiosks or in the citycard sales centers. The map of automated kiosk you can find below.

 

5. What types of e-tickets are provided by the system?

Types of electronic tickets:

7. What shall I do if I don’t have enough funds on the card to pay the trip?

Every transport card has one credit fare. You can use it or try to find the automated kiosks, citycard sales centers to refill the card. It is also possible to top your card on with our website or through the mobile application.

 

8. Who will control the fare?

The control will work on the line with special devices to check the registration of the electronic ticket.

 

9. Do the city guest needs to buy transport card?

To pay for public transport, guests of the city can use an electronic ticket in the form of a transport card, which can be purchased at self-service terminals, or an electronic ticket in the form of a QR code from a mobile application. You can also pay for the trip with a bank card with PayPass/PayWave in the form of a physical carrier with a chip, or with a bank card from a device with NFC technology.

 

10. Can several people pay for the journey by one card?

Yes, it is possible. However, the number of payments on a single card is limited so that no one pays it. Only one trip can be registered with the student and preferential card – after contact with the validator the card will be blocked for a few minutes.

 

11. Does the card have a shelf life?

No, it does not.

 

12. How to check the balance of the card?

The balance of the card can be checked at self-service terminals, the mobile application and on the validator display after payment for the trip.

 

13.What shall I do if I lost my card?

In case of loss of the electronic ticket, please contact the card center at the address: Lutsk, vul. Lesya Ukrainka, 16A. Your lost card will be blocked and the remaining funds will be transferred to a new card.

 

14. How will I understand that the payment was completed successfully?

The validator display show information about successful payment and balance on your card.
